Ben has developed a formidable reputation in risk advice for construction and mobile, plant and equipment sectors. He is driven by the desire to ensure his clients’ businesses are protected and draws upon his extensive network of connections to leverage optimal results. This philosophy has been instilled in the Risk Advisors he mentors ensuring the highest level of technical expertise is entrenched across the team.

Ben’s insurance career began in Western Australia in 2007, servicing the construction industry. In 2008 he moved to Melbourne, finding opportunities to expand his expertise while working with an insurer to underwrite financial risk. He then moved into client and executive-management roles for national broking firms.

In 2020, Ben launched BG Risk Solutions with a focus on tailored risk advisory services to respond to the individual needs of his clients. There he developed a strong following, transferring risk for clients across a range of sectors including construction, early learning and child care services, property owners, contractors plant and equipment with a niche specialisation in the dry hire industry.

After trading as an Corporate Authorised Representative of Bellrock for 12 months, Ben officially joined the Bellrock family in November 2023 recognising true synergies in the way risk advisory and client advocacy is championed at Bellrock.
